Nucleoplasty is a fast and less traumatising procedure. The controlled and highly precise Coblation field is based on our refined electrode design, which enables minimally invasive interventions with maximal efficacy. This is particularly evident from extremely fast recovery times without the need of walking aids. With a patient satisfaction of up to 89% and a success rate of 80%, nucleoplasty represents an optimal addition to neuro-orthopaedic treatment options (references available upon request).
Unlike percutaneous laser disc decompression, the Coblation-driven nucleoplasty technology also enables a safe treatment option for cervical interventions. Using the slightly angled cervical electrode with a particularly stable active tip, tissue from the nucleus pulposus is gently and carefully ablated at low temperature, with limited collateral damage to the surrounding areas. This makes nucleoplasty an excellent treatment for cervical disc herniations.
